Our group of 8 stayed in both Pooh and Piglet (same building). Both were very basic and a quite rough around the edges, but as a group we wanted a cheap alternative to hotels & a great location, I can't fault it.

Flying Dutchmen Apartment
WATERLOOPLEIN - The Flying Dutchman according to folklore is a ghost ship that can never go home, doomed to sail the oceans forever. It is usually spotted from far away, sometimes glowing with ghostly light.
This beautiful Amsterdam vacation home is not hunted by ghosts as the name might suggest. It has high ceilings and two large bedrooms with two single beds each, but under request we can also prepare a double bed. It is decorated with amazing ceiling lamps that will give you all the light you need during the night and paintings on its walls. The heating system will keep you warm while you get entertained with all the living room features, which include a large plasma screen, a CD player and a cozy double sofa bed. There is also a balcony were you can have a glass of wine while you enjoy your night. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom has both bathtub and a shower and also a separate toilet so you can have all the privacy you want. If you need it there is an ironing equipment for your clothes. All the towels and sheets will be provided during your stay. As a plus, we offer a reception service which works 24 hours a day, combining the facilities of a hotel in Amsterdam with the privacy of the Amsterdam holiday homes.
